QUALITY
Elizé’s jewels are entirely handmade using Swarovski® and Preciosa® crystals and pearls, Czech glass beads and gemstones chosen for their beauty and extraordinary color. All jewelry pieces feature sterling silver, 23K gold plated and rhodium plated ear wires and closures and in order to prevent their beauty, Elizé recommends following some general conditions of use: check the integrity of the jewels before wearing them, especially the locking systems.

PRESERVATION
Elizé has a few tips and tricks you can use to keep your piece looking brand new. Preserve Elizé jewelry by placing them individually in the original casing to protect from humidity and sources of heat.

SWAROVSKI® AND PRECIOSA® CRYSTALS
The colored crystals are fragile; therefore, the jewelry must be worn carefully by avoiding sudden impacts against hard surfaces. Since colored gemstones are natural gemstones, they can have variations in the inclusions or in color. Furthermore, they can lose their brilliance if placed in contact with oil, perfumes, detergents and other chemical substances.
Care
For these reasons, they must be gently cleaned by using a soft brush and warm water; dry by dabbing (not rubbing) with an undamaged soft cloth.

SWAROVSKI® PEARLS
Swarovski pearls’ crystal core and unique silky coating match the look and feel of real pearls. They are resistant to abrasion, perfume, perspiration and UV, which makes them extremely durable.
Care
Pearls should be cleaned by using a soft cloth, mild detergent and warm water, giving the pearls a gentle wipe. An additional dry soft cloth should be used to dry them.

CZECH GLASS BEADS
Glass beads with different coatings are used in our designs, to create unique shades and colors. Beads we carry that are coated include Metallic, Luster, Picasso, Opaque coatings and with proper care these beads will stay shiny and brilliant for years to come.
Care
In order to prevent the original color and shine of the beads it is preferable not to wear the Elizé jewels when washing your hands, when doing the housework (detergents, corrosive products could damage the beads and the jewel itself), when doing sporting activities (salted water or chlorine water, sweat and impacts could damage the beads and the jewel itself), when applying perfume and make up. It is recommended to avoid the exposure to intense heat and sudden temperature variations.

Durable
23KT GOLD PLATING
Gold plating is a thick layer of gold which gives the jewelry pieces their long lasting color. We use 23KT gold that is a minimum of 5 microns thick layered over sterling silver. With this gold plating tarnish resistance will be as good as pure gold.
Care
It is recommended to remove your gold plated jewelry before exercising and showering. Jewelry should be cleaned by buffing gently with a dry cloth and stored in Elizé’s jewelry box.
Sterling
SILVER
925 Sterling Silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. We plate our sterling silver closures, pendant bails and ear wires in rhodium, which gives it extra shine and durability. Rhodium is one of the costliest precious metals due to its rarity.
Care
It is preferable to avoid water when wearing your piece, because over time the sterling silver will oxidize. Jewelry piece should be kept in Elizé’s original casing to keep oxygen at bay.
